Veteran actor Nana Patekar has died at the age of 75 after suffering a severe cardiac arrest at his residence in Goa on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
The actor was found unconscious at his home in Dona Paula and was taken to Manipal Hospital for emergency treatment. Doctors tried to revive him for around 45 minutes, but they could not save him.

According to Dr. Shekhar Salkar, Chief of the Oncology Department at Manipal Hospital, Nana Patekar suffered a severe cardiac arrest.
Dr. Salkar confirmed that the actor died at 5:20 AM on Thursday. Medical teams performed continuous CPR for approximately 45 minutes, but Patekar did not respond to the treatment.
A medico-legal case has also been registered, and authorities will conduct a post-mortem examination as part of the formal procedure.
